I'm so sorry for these negative journal entries I've been posting, but there's one more that needs to be done.

On friday the 25th of April 2008 just after 3pm, my beloved father passed away. It was an unexpected passing, but happened without trauma or pain. He simply sat down, and didn't get up. I am not angry for losing him, simply saddened. He left us all with nothing less than the greatest of love in our hearts. There were no unresolved issues, no unspoken words left behind. Passing on at the age of 50, I am saddened for all of the years I will not have with him, but I am so thankful for the time we had together. Im thankful for the proud moments I could share with him, and that special smile he had when I made him proud to be my father. In this year that I finally have the means to do so many of the things I'd been looking forward to, I have also lost the opportunity to do them.

My father was a true example of what it means to be humble, meek, supportive, loving and respectful of all those around us.

I still love him, and every day witout him, my heart breaks just a little more.

I will probably go on being a scarce individual here on dA, and I apologise to my friends for not being able to spend as much time with them as I'd like to. My life has just taken a 180 degree turn and I'm doing my very best to not let it destroy me.

I'd like to thank all of the people who have been so supportive over this last week and a half, especially who never left my side.

It's been hard, but we carry on...

Thankyou for all of the love and prayers, and for letting me vent my sadness in such a melodramatic way. I hope to return soon.
